treatment of cystic acne
The treatments of cystic acne are many, including but not limited to oral antibiotics, topical creams and lotions, or a combination of both. Let's start first with why you need these treatments in order to effectively treat cystic acne. Oral antibiotics are usually needed to treat this type of acne because the root cause is infection, specifically bacterial infection. The only way to kill bacteria is by using antibiotics, but this does not mean that you have to take a pill. If your doctor decides that it would be better for you, they can prescribe you a topical antibiotic treatment, this can be effective because it is applied to the skin directly and therefore it goes to work immediately.
